Mortgages by Bavaro and Clear 2 Close Home Loans Corp are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are actively working to improve the usability and accessibility of our website and Partner Hub in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Our Efforts

We strive to design and develop our digital properties with accessibility in mind, including considerations for screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, color contrast, and clear content structure. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we periodically review our website and Partner Hub to identify and address potential barriers.

Recent Accessibility Improvements

The following changes were shipped as part of our ongoing WCAG 2.1 AA compliance pass:

Global (site-wide)

Skip to main content link added at the top of every page, visually hidden until focused.
Visible focus indicators restored globally with a high-contrast gold outline on all focusable elements.
Landmark roles — every page uses proper <header>, <nav>, <main>, and <footer> elements.
Semantic <main> with id="main-content" as the skip-link target.
Utility .sr-only class added for screen-reader-only text.

Public marketing layout (Home, About, Contact, Privacy, Terms, Login)

Header nav labeled Primary; mobile nav labeled Primary mobile to distinguish repeated navigation regions.
Logo link now has an aria-label of "Partner Hub home".
Muted nav text contrast increased from 80% to 90% opacity to meet 4.5:1 contrast on the navy background.

Authenticated app shell (Dashboard, Referrals, Tools, Messages, etc.)

Desktop and mobile navigation regions each carry an aria-label.
Active navigation links carry aria-current="page" for screen readers.
Unread-message and new-referral badges announce their count via aria-label instead of relying on color alone.

Login / Sign-up form

Every input now has a properly associated <label htmlFor> with a unique id.
Added autoComplete hints (email, current-password, new-password, name) for password-manager support.
Error and info messages are wrapped in an aria-live="polite" region; errors use role="alert".
Placeholder-only labels removed — labels are visible, not just implied.

Keyboard & focus

All interactive elements are reachable via Tab / Shift+Tab in a logical order.
Dialogs and dropdowns are built on Radix primitives, which provide focus trapping, Escape-to-close, and return-of-focus by default.
No positive tabIndex values are used.
